Directly below the capital, the national motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate — Truth Alone Triumphs) is inscribed in Devanagari script. The issuer's name appears as 'भारत' in Devanagari to the left and 'INDIA' in Latin script to the right, arranged along the periphery. The denomination '₹100' is prominently displayed in large numerals at the lower portion of the field. |
