Reverse description Central vignette presents two traditionally attired Ceylonese figures — a male and a female — rendered in intaglio, set within an ornamental guilloché border. Inscriptions in Sinhala and Tamil script appear in panels at the top and bottom margins, flanked by the numeral "100" at each corner. The English legend "CENTRAL BANK OF CEYLON" and denomination panel are printed across the upper and lower portions respectively.
