Obverse description	The left portion of the obverse carries a large intaglio vignette of two Aldabra giant tortoises resting amid tropical foliage, rendered with fine line engraving. An oval portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in right profile occupies the right side, framed by a scrollwork cartouche. The date and Governor's signature appear at lower right, with serial number printed twice in red at upper centre and lower left.
