Reverse description
In a glassy oval of the centre – a battle scene, to the left – a troop of Russian warriors galloping with drawn swords, above them – a waving gonfalon with the image of the Saviour, behind them to the left – a mighty tree, to the right – a troop of the Golden Horde warriors armed with bows and galloping towards the Russian warriors, above them – flying arrows, behind them to the right – two jurts (nomad’s tents). In the upper part of the coin’s disc – stylized images of the sun, moon and stars. On the matted sector of the coin’s disc framing the glassy oval, at the top – the host of celestial patrons, at the bottom – smallstylized figures of three birds and three wolfs with open chaps. In the lower part of the coin’s disc – a cartouche with the inscription in four lines: «625 ЛЕТИЕ КУЛИКОВСКОЙ БИТВЫ» (THE 625THANNIBERSARY OF THE BATTLE ON KULIKOVO FIELD), to the left from it – a shield and a sword, to the right – a bow and a quiver with arrows.
