Obverse description At centre, the emblem of the Bank of Russia — a double-headed eagle with wings lowered — is depicted within a beaded circle. Arcing along the upper rim is the denomination legend «СТО РУБЛЕЙ» (ONE HUNDRED ROUBLES), while the lower arc bears the issuing authority inscription «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA). Disposed about the lower field outside the beaded circle are, from left to right: the precious metal designation and fineness «Au 999», the year of issue «2012 г.», the fine metal content «15,55», and the Moscow Mint monogram «ММД».
