Obverse description At centre, the two-headed eagle emblem of the Bank of Russia after the design of Ivan Bilibin occupies the field, flanked by spread wings and surmounted by two imperial crowns beneath a third. Below the eagle, inscribed in the field, are the metal designation, fineness, mint monogram (ЛМД), and fine metal content (1 kg). A beaded inner circle frames the central device, with the curved legend «100 РУБЛЕЙ 1995 г.» arching along the upper rim and «БАНК РОССИИ» along the lower rim, all in Cyrillic characters.

Reverse description At centre, a Eurasian lynx is depicted with two cubs in a naturalistic forest setting, a bird perched on a fir tree visible in the background. To the left, a mare with a foal stands in the middle ground, while to the right three men are shown constructing a log structure near an onion-domed church, evoking traditional Russian rural life. The composition is rendered in high-relief proof style with finely detailed surfaces. The curved inscription «СОХРАНИМ НАШ МИР» (PROTECT OUR WORLD) arches along the upper rim in Cyrillic characters.
