Obverse description At the center of the obverse is the State Emblem of the Transnistrian Moldovan Republic, rendered in fine relief. The circular legend ПРИДНЕСТРОВСКИЙ РЕСПУБЛИКАНСКИЙ БАНК (Transnistrian Republican Bank) runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 100 РУБЛЕЙ flanked by ornamental dots appears along the lower periphery. The date 2006 and the fineness mark 925 are inscribed in the field.

Reverse description The reverse features a dynamic central composition depicting Fet-Frumos, the heroic knight of Moldavian folk tradition, mounted on a rearing horse and driving a sword into a colossal serpent. The design is rendered in high relief with expressive detail in the figural group. Along the left periphery, the inscription ФЭТ-ФРУМОС (Fet-Frumos) in Moldavian is inscribed vertically following the edge. On the right, the inscription ПЕ МОТИВЕЛЕ ПОВЕШТИЛОР ПОПУЛАРЕ МОЛДОВЕНЕШТЬ (After Moldavian Folk Fairytales) is arranged in a semicircular arc on a stylized ribbon along the right border.
