The banknote was planned to be a part of a forgotten alternative series from 1994-95 that would modernize the 1993 notes.Due to the hyperinflation in later 1994 and early 1995, the banknote was cancelled and was reused in the 5,000 Rouble banknote.The banknote was order by A.V. Voylukov and was made by I. S. Krylkov.The banknote was printed in very limited numbers by Goznak(today it's presented in Goznak's collection of banknotes).
