Obverse description Central vignette presents a sculptural quadriga group atop the portico of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow — the chariot of Apollo drawn by four horses, executed by sculptor Pyotr Klodt von Jürgensburg — rendered in fine intaglio detail against a multicolour guilloche underprint. The Bank of Russia double-headed eagle emblem appears to the upper left, with the denomination numeral "100" repeated within the design. A security thread is embedded vertically through the note, and the modification year inscription "МОДИФИКАЦИЯ - 2004 г." appears in the lower margin.
