In the center we see the Green Dome (built in 1279 CE/678 AH) which is a green-colored dome built above the tomb of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and the early Muslim Caliphs, Abu Bakr and Umar. The dome is located in the south-east corner of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi (Mosque of the Prophet) in Medina. Above it, in Arabic lettering, appear the name of Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority, the number and date of the Royal Decree pursuant to which it was issued and the name of King Abdullah. To the right we see the picture of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. At the bottom of the banknote we see the signatures of the the Minister of Finance and the Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority. Below in the center in between the signatures we see the value of the banknote printed in Arabic.

In the center we see aerial view of Al-Masjid an-Nabawī, known in English as The Prophet`s Mosque, Al Haram. The Prophet`s Mosque is a mosque built by the last Islamic prophet Muhammad in the city of Medina in the Al Madinah Province of Saudi Arabia. To the right we see the emblem of the kingdom.
