Obverse description At left, a detailed vignette of the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) in Medina rendered in green and orange tones, set against a geometric guilloche underprint in pale blue and pink. At centre-right, an intaglio portrait of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud faces left, framed within an arched panel with intricate decorative borders. Arabic inscriptions appear in the upper and lower margins, with the denomination in Arabic numerals at lower centre.
