| Obverse description | Central vignette to the right presents an intaglio rendering of the Imam Reza shrine at Mashhad, executed in fine line engraving against a multicolour guilloche underprint. The denomination صد ریال (One Hundred Rials) is inscribed in large Nastaliq script at centre, flanked by two signatures with their respective titles, and the serial number appears in red Persian numerals at upper left and lower right. The bank title بانک مرکزی ایران is set within an ornate cartouche at the top, with decorative floral motifs and scrollwork framing the composition. |
