Obverse description The obverse is dominated by the large blackletter denomination inscription "Einhundert Rentenmark" across the centre, set against a fine guilloche underprint with repeated numeral "100" in the background. The heading "Rentenbankschein" appears in decorative script above the denomination, while the body of the note carries the full legal text of issue in small letterpress print, including the issuance authority, redemption conditions, and date of 1 November 1923. The serial number appears twice in the corners, and multiple manuscript signatures of the Verwaltungsrat (Board of Directors) are printed in facsimile across the lower portion.

I S. 963) Die Deutsche Rentenbank ist verpflichtet, die von ihr ausgegebenen Rentenbankscheine jederzeit auf Verlangen gegen ihre auf Goldmark lautenden mit 5 v. Reverse description The reverse is printed in a single dark tone on plain paper, with an elaborate oval guilloche medallion at centre enclosing the large numeral "100". The word "Einhundert" appears in blackletter script above the medallion and "Rentenmark" below it, both framed by fine lathe-work borders. The legend "Rentenbankschein" is printed in letterpress along both the top and bottom margins, and the anti-counterfeiting warning text runs vertically along the left margin.
