Obverse description Black and brown intaglio on light yellow underprint, with a vignette of a Nahuala indigenous man in profile facing left at right, and a Quetzal bird in flight at upper center. Six-digit serial numbers appear in black at upper left and lower right, with three black manuscript signatures at lower center-left and the authorization date rotated 90° at right. The issuer name is inscribed at top, with the country name and region below, face value numerals at all four corners and center, and the denomination in letters at lower center; the printer's imprint appears at bottom.
