Reverse description The full Royal Arms of the United Kingdom displayed in high relief at centre, surmounted by the Imperial State Crown, the quartered shield displaying the three passant guardant lions of England (quarters one and four), the rampant lion of Scotland (quarter two), and the Irish harp (quarter three). The shield is flanked by the two traditional supporters: the crowned lion of England to the sinister and the unicorn of Scotland to the dexter, the latter chained and gorged with a coronet. Beneath the shield, a decorative compartment bears the motto scroll inscribed HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE and DIEU ET MON DROIT on a second ribbon, with the floral emblems of the constituent nations — Tudor rose, Scottish thistle, and Irish shamrock — depicted below. The date appears divided across the upper field flanking the crown, and the inscription 1 OZ FINE GOLD 999.9 arcs along the lower periphery, with the mint mark TN visible to the lower right.
