| Additional information |
The Queen's Beasts series concluded its bullion run in 2021, but the Panther returned here under a new reign — making this one of the first Royal Mint issues to pair a Elizabeth-era heraldic beast with Charles III's obverse. The Queen's Panther derives from the heraldic supporters of Jane Seymour, Henry VIII's third queen, and appeared on her personal badge as a silver panther with a golden crown.
Four-nines purity (.9999) has been the Royal Mint's bullion gold standard since they retooled the Britannia specification in 2013.
