Additional information

Egypt's Administrative Prosecution Authority, established under Nasser in 1954 and later enshrined in the 2014 constitution as an independent judicial body, investigates financial and administrative corruption within the state apparatus. This commemorative was issued to mark the authority's anniversary — a recurring practice by the Central Bank of Egypt that has produced a dense series of institutional commemoratives over the past two decades, most in the same .720 silver specification.

The 72% silver alloy is a deliberate cost-control choice that Egypt has used consistently across its modern commemorative program rather than the .925 standard common elsewhere.
