| Obverse description | Printed in terracotta-red and black on cream paper, the obverse is composed entirely in letterpress typography without pictorial vignettes, with the issuer's name STÄDTISCHE SPARKASSE and NEUMARKT IN SCHLESIEN set in large bold block type across the upper field above a geometric diamond-and-stripe underprint. The denomination EINHUNDERT PFENNIG appears in heavy display type at centre, below which the issue date 10 October 1921 is stated, with two manuscript signatures flanking the redemption clause at foot. The printer's imprint of Grass, Barth & Comp. W. Friedrich, Breslau is placed at the lower right margin. |
