| Obverse description | The city coat of arms of Celle — an ornate heraldic shield surmounted by a crown and flanked by elaborate acanthus scrollwork — is centred on a light blue underprint ground, with two allegorical female busts in woodcut-style vignettes anchoring the upper corners, each accompanied by a shield bearing a crossed-hammer device. Below the arms, a text panel carries the validity inscription and the facsimile signatures of two magistrate officials. A lower vignette band in Art Nouveau style presents reclining nude figures within a decorative landscape border. |
