| Obverse description | The Cuban national coat of arms — a shield divided into three segments depicting a key, a rising sun over a seascape, and a royal palm flanked by landscape — is centered within a five-pointed star set against a plain field. A wreath of laurel and oak branches frames the lower half of the design, flanking the central motif.
