(Translation: The Bank of the Republic Will pay to the Bearer One Hundred Pesos Oro)
Reverse description Central vignette of a standing figure of Liberty within an ornate guilloche frame, flanked by two large numeral "100" rosette medallions with fine lathe-work. The circular legend "BANCO DE LA REPUBLICA BOGOTA COLOMBIA" surrounds the central vignette, and "CIEN PESOS ORO" appears in a decorative cartouche at the foot of the note. The overall printing is executed in red-brown ink with intricate engine-turned geometric patterns throughout.
