Reverse description The reverse presents a left-facing bust of General José de San Martín, depicted in military uniform with an ornately decorated collar. The portrait is rendered in high relief with finely engraved hair and facial details. The curved legend 'GENERAL JOSE DE SAN MARTIN' arcs along the upper periphery within a continuous dotted border. To the right of the portrait, a decorative floral or torch-like motif is present in the field. The overall composition is austere and dignified, consistent with Argentine commemorative coinage of the period.
