Obverse description The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring the shield surmounted by the Phrygian cap and flanked by oak and laurel branches. The curved legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination 100 PESOS appears in the lower field. Weight and fineness inscriptions — 1 OZ and AU 0.999 — are positioned on the left and right sides respectively. A rope border runs close to the coin's edge, framing the entire design.
