| Reverse description | The silver centre presents a highly detailed replica of the classic Mexican 1 Peso 'Balanza' (scale of justice) coin design, depicting a Phrygian cap radiating sunbeams above two balanced scales flanking a scroll inscribed LEY, with the legend LIBERTAD above and UN PESO below, along with the assay mark Zs Mo and fineness 0.903. The aluminium bronze outer ring bears the legend HERENCIA NUMISMATICA DE MEXICO arcing along the upper portion, with the mint mark Mo at left and the date 2013 at right. The denomination $100 appears in the lower field of the outer ring. A row of decorative beads forms the border between the inner and outer elements. |
