Reverse description The reverse features a left-facing bust portrait of Venustiano Carranza, revolutionary statesman and former President of Mexico, occupying the left portion of the field with fine detail rendering his characteristic full beard and pince-nez spectacles. The mint mark 'Mo' appears to the lower left of the portrait. To the right of the bust, the large denomination numeral '$100' is prominently displayed in the field, with the year of issue positioned below. The signer's name V. CARRANZA appears in the lower exergue as a legend. Braille dots indicating the denomination are incused in the upper field, and the design is enclosed within a beaded border.
