Obverse description Intaglio-printed portrait of General José de San Martín in three-quarter view occupies the right portion of the note, with his name inscribed below in small lettering. The left and central areas carry the denomination numeral '100' in large figures at upper left, flanked by intricate guilloche underprint patterns in rose-red tones. Two facsimile signatures of the Gerente General and Presidente appear at lower centre, with the serial number printed twice in red at upper right and lower left.
