Obverse description Printed in black ink over a red and celeste underprint, the obverse carries an allegorical female vignette at the left alongside a portrait of Mariano Moreno, with the Argentine Coat of Arms positioned at the center. Ornate guilloche work frames the principal design elements, and the face value and issuing authority are rendered in letterpress across the upper and lower registers. Two signature varieties are recorded for this issue.

Reverse description Printed in dark gray, the reverse centers on a landscape vignette of a waterfall scene enclosed by dense tropical foliage and rocky outcroppings. Large numeral counters reading "100" occupy ornate guilloche cartouches at the left and right extremities. The printer's imprint is set along the lower margin.
