Obverse description Horizontally oriented letterpress note with a typeset border composed of repeated small vignette medallions enclosing the entire design. The upper register carries the legend CONFEDERACION ARGENTINA flanked by the denomination '100$' on both sides, with a circular HACIENDA handstamp applied at upper right; vertical side panels bear CIEN PESOS in stacked lettering. The central text body, printed in letterpress, sets out in Spanish the promise to pay one hundred pesos at one percent monthly interest, redeemable at any National Customs house, dated in manuscript at Paraná, June 1857, with printed role titles for El Ministro de Hacienda, El Contador General, and El Tesorero each followed by manuscript signatures.
