| Obverse description | The note bears the heading 'CONFEDERACION ARGENTINA' in bold lettering across the upper portion, flanked by denomination numerals '100S' on either side. A central text block in Spanish carries the promise of payment by El Gobierno Nacional, referencing the Decretos of 7 de Mayo and 5 de Junio de 1857, with the obligation redeemable at the Aduanas Nacionales.
