Reverse description A high-relief medallic rendering of Francisco de Goya's celebrated painting La Maja Desnuda occupies the central field, depicting a reclining nude female figure viewed frontally, reposing upon a draped chaise longue with her arms raised behind her head and her gaze directed toward the viewer. The composition faithfully reproduces the Romantic masterwork's soft contours and drapery detail in finely engraved relief against a polished mirror field. The legend MAJA DESNUDA arcs in bold letters across the upper portion of the coin, while the artist's name GOYA appears in the lower field flanked by two small five-pointed stars on either side.
