Reverse description Central vignette reproducing José Casado del Alisal's celebrated history painting 'Los dos caudillos' ('The Two Commanders'), which portrays the Great Captain, Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba, solemnly contemplating the body of his fallen adversary following the decisive battle for the Kingdom of Naples. The scene is enclosed within elaborate guilloche framework with the denomination and issuer legends arranged around the central panel, all printed in violet-purple intaglio.
