| Reverse description | A detailed relief effigy of a Chow Chow dog is depicted standing in left profile at the centre of the field, its thick mane and curled tail rendered with fine engraving detail, commemorating the Chinese Lunar Year of the Dog. The numeral '100' arcs along the upper border, flanked on either side by a small five-pointed star. The denomination legend 'PATACAS' curves along the lower border. To the left of the central motif, the Chinese characters '壹百' (one hundred) are inscribed vertically, and to the right, the characters '澳門' (Macau) appear, also in vertical arrangement. The design is struck to proof standard with frosted devices against mirrored fields. |
