Reverse description The reverse carries a vignette of a traditional Mauritanian ardin (harp-lute string instrument) at left, while the right side presents a cow standing before the historic Chinguetti Mosque of the Adrar Region, one of Islam's revered holy sites. The composition is framed by the same geometric guilloche border panels seen on the obverse, with the denomination and bank name rendered in French across the upper and lower registers.
