| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by an intaglio portrait of Hồ Chí Minh within an oval guilloche vignette at right, rendered in brown and olive tones against a multicolour underprint of radiating lathe-work patterns in orange and green. The national emblem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is centrally placed above the denomination legend. A blank oval reserve for the watermark occupies the left field, with the numeral "100" in a blue guilloche cartouche at lower left and a decorative ornamental panel at lower centre. |
