Reverse description The central field bears a detailed architectural rendering of Fort San Domingo (淡水紅毛城, Tamsui Fort), a historic Dutch-era fortification in Tamsui, Taiwan, depicted with its characteristic stone masonry, crenellated battlements, flagpole flying the Republic of China flag, surrounding stairways, and flanking vegetation. The Chinese characters 淡水紅毛城 (Tamsui Fort San Domingo) appear in two vertical columns to the upper right of the design. The date 2010 is inscribed to the upper left in the field. The denomination 100圓 is prominently engraved along the lower periphery, with the purity mark Ag999 to its right.
