| Obverse description | Brown and tan note with an oval intaglio portrait vignette at left of the Duque de Caxias in military uniform, set within an elaborate guilloche border inscribed PRO CONSTITUIÇÃO. A large central circular medallion carries the denomination CEM MIL REIS in bold lettering, flanked by intricate underprint patterns repeating the value 100 throughout the field. At lower centre a manuscript signature appears above a text panel stating the bearer clause and reference to Decreto N. 5885 of 14 July 1932. |
