| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a large Polish eagle on a red heraldic shield occupying the left third of the note, set within an intricate dark blue guilloche border with foliate ornamental panels. The central field bears the printed text of the issuing authority and a declaration of German Reich responsibility for redemption, dated Warsaw, 9 December 1916, with three manuscript signatures below. A large red typographic '100' vignette in an ornate oval frame anchors the right side, with the denomination 'STO MAREK POLSKICH' rendered in bold letterpress at the top. |
