Finland's millennial commemorative program was one of the more restrained in Europe — the Bank of Finland resisted the flood of multi-coin sets that other central banks issued and produced a limited run of single pieces. KM#92 was struck to .925 standard, matching the fineness used for Finnish commemoratives throughout the 1990s rather than the .999 purity that had become fashionable elsewhere by 2000.
