| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed note in black on pale green paper, with the Baden coat of arms surmounted by a crowned double-headed eagle at the top centre above the issuer's name in a rectangular cartouche. Two large allegorical vignettes flank the central text: at left, a seated female figure with a child and harvest attributes, at right, a seated female with a putto and mechanical implements, both rendered in fine line-engraved style. The denomination 'Hundert Mark' is set in ornate Gothic script at centre, below which the place and date 'Mannheim, 1. Januar 1907.' appear, with serial numbers in duplex at upper left and right and two manuscript signatures below 'Die Direction:'. |
