Obverse description The obverse is printed in magenta and olive-green on a light ground, with an intricate guilloche wave pattern filling the entire field. The issuing authority title appears within a decorative cartouche at the top, while the denomination "HUNDERT MARK" is rendered in large letterpress across the centre, framing a central oval vignette with the numeral "100" in white relief against a magenta background. The corners carry bold numeral "100" overprints in magenta, and flanking inscriptions in two vertical panels read "SERIE 1944 / HUNDERT MARK / IN UMLAUF GESETZT / IN / DEUTSCHLAND".
