| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown letterpress on ochre-yellow paper with an overall floral underprint, the obverse centres on a large Gothic-script denomination panel reading 'Einhundert / 100 / Mark' within an oval guilloche numeral cartouche, flanked by ornamental corner vignettes of stylised birds and foliage set within a serrated border frame.
