Obverse description Red crosshatch guilloche underprint covers the entire field, with the repeated numeral '100' forming the background pattern in red. Two full-length figures in period costume — a soldier or guard at left and a tradesman at right — flank the central text, rendered in bold black letterpress. The Waldshut municipal coat of arms, a shield bearing a standing figure, is centered at the lower middle. Date 'WALDSHUT, 2 NOV 1922' and the signature of the Bürgermeister appear at lower right, with a serial number and anti-counterfeiting warning text at lower left.

Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a bold expressionist vignette in black and red, centering on a stylized ram's or goat's skull rendered in vigorous woodcut-like cross-hatching. A broad red ribbon curves around the central motif in a circular arrangement, bearing an inscription referencing the Waldshuter Junggesellen (bachelors' guild) and the date span '1468–1922'. A panel of Gothic script text runs vertically along the left border.
