Obverse description Dark teal and salmon letterpress design of ornate scalloped outline form, with an elaborate foliate underprint filling the field. A central cartouche in salmon with dark Gothic script reads "Hundert Mark", flanked on either side by the numeral "100". Above, four stacked banner scrolls carry the issuing authority inscription. Below the cartouche, the city arms of Konstanz — a black cross on a white and red shield — appear as a vignette, accompanied by validity text and the date 23. Oktober 1922 with a facsimile signature of the Oberbürgermeister.

Reverse description Printed in teal and salmon on a warm buff ground, the reverse centres on a circular medallion portrait of the Bohemian reformer Jan Hus in right-facing profile, rendered in fine line engraving style and surrounded by a decorative chain border. Flanking oak-branch motifs in salmon extend to either side of the medallion, and the name "JOHs. HUSS" is set in large capitals to the left and right. Below, a four-line verse in block capitals occupies the lower half of the note, with the designer credit "ENTWURF D. BENNO EGGERT" printed beneath; corner numerals "100" and the abbreviated denomination "Mk." appear at each corner within a ruled border.
