Obverse description Central device depicts a raised relief map of Azerbaijan, including the Nakhchivan exclave, set against a deeply mirrored proof field. A cursive inscription in Azerbaijani curves across the map, reading the national motto affirming the permanence and irreversibility of Azerbaijani independence. The circular legend 'AZƏRBAYCAN RESPUBLİKASI' arcs along the upper periphery in bold Latin characters. The date '2004' appears in the lower central field, flanked by raised dots, with the denomination 'YÜZ MANAT' inscribed along the lower rim.
