Obverse description	The central field carries a large Arabic-script denomination vignette reading 'مئة ليرة' (One Hundred Livres), set within an intricate guilloche lacework surround with ornamental arabesque borders. The issuer's name in Arabic, 'بنك سوريا ولبنان الكبير', runs across the upper register alongside the date in Arabic numerals, while two signature lines appear at the lower left. Corner rosettes and geometric latticework frame the composition, with the numeral 100 repeated at each corner, and the engraver and designer credits appear in the lower margin.
