| Obverse description | Left-facing bare-headed effigy of King Victor Emmanuel III, depicted with close-cropped hair and a short goatee, wearing a decorative collar of oak leaves and acorns rendered in high relief in the Art Deco style. The legend VITT·EM·III to the upper left and RE D'ITALIA to the upper right arc around the portrait along the rim. The regnal anniversary dates 1900 and 1925 flank the base of the truncation at lower left and lower right respectively, commemorating the king's twenty-fifth year of reign. The portrait is boldly modelled with strong sculptural relief, characteristic of Mistruzzi's medallic work. |
