Not a coin and never intended to circulate — this is a fantasy piece, almost certainly produced postwar by private Italian medalists capitalizing on collector interest in the Fascist period. No 100 Lire denomination of this type was authorized or struck by the Italian state in 1943; by that point the Mussolini government was collapsing, the Allies had landed in Sicily, and the king had him arrested in July. The "1943" date is part of the fiction.
