Reverse description The centre is occupied by a circular medallion enclosing a portrait of Italia Turrita facing left, surrounded by a concentric outer ring bearing the issuer's inscription; the denomination appears in both numerals and letters at each corner, at upper and lower centre, along the inner border of the central medallion, and within a matrix column along the right border, all printed in dark grey. An interlocking guilloche network in grey-violet fills the field between the two concentric rings and the surrounding decorative framework, with series numbers at upper left and lower right and serial numbers at upper right and lower left.
