Obverse description Central to the obverse is a depiction of an ancient Urartu ceremonial shield or bronze roundel, rendered in high relief with ornamental decorative elements and small figural motifs arranged around its perimeter. The Turkish State emblem — a crescent and star — appears above the central design. The bilingual legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' arcs along the upper left rim and 'REPUBLIC OF TURKEY' along the upper right rim, both in Latin script. The denomination '100 Türk Lirası' is inscribed along the lower rim, and the date '2015' appears in the lower field beneath the central device.
