| Obverse description | Central to the obverse is a depiction of an ancient Urartu ceremonial shield or bronze roundel, rendered in high relief with ornamental decorative elements and small figural motifs arranged around its perimeter. The Turkish State emblem — a crescent and star — appears above the central design. The bilingual legend 'TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ' arcs along the upper left rim and 'REPUBLIC OF TURKEY' along the upper right rim, both in Latin script.
