Reverse description Central design presents two allegorical figures — a male worker and a female figure, rendered in high relief within a circular frame — symbolising the socialist ideals of labour and national unity commemorated on the twentieth anniversary of August 23rd. Flanking the central medallion are two symmetrical branches, one of laurel and one of wheat, converging at the base with a small decorative ornament. The denomination legend '100 LEI' is inscribed in bold raised lettering along the upper arc of the coin, dominating the upper field.
